About Steele County Gem and Mineral Club
Steele County Gem and Mineral Club is a rockhounding club based in Owatonna, Minnesota, and a member of the Midwest Federation of Mineralogical and Geological Societies. The club meets monthly on the 2nd Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Gainey Room on the 3rd floor of the Owatonna Public Library. It sponsors public exhibits and shows featuring rocks, minerals, fossils, artifacts, petrified wood, and handmade gemstone jewelry, with entries open to visitors of all ages.
