About Vallejo Gem & Mineral Society
Vallejo Gem & Mineral Society was founded on October 8, 1954, by rockhounds dedicated to sharing knowledge about minerals and geology. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit shares knowledge and talents in lapidary, lost-wax casting, wire wrapping, silversmithing, beading, and other jewelry and craft skills. Members have access to a shop with lapidary equipment across several weekly open sessions, and the club organizes field trips.
