About Temecula Valley Prospectors
Temecula Valley Prospectors is the original Southern California chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA), focused on ecologically sound prospecting, small-scale mining, and treasure hunting. It's a family-oriented club emphasizing education on locating and identifying minerals while preserving the environment; members take part in gold prospecting, metal detecting, and gem and mineral hunting. Membership is free with no annual dues, and prospecting equipment can be borrowed at no cost -- outings are completely free.
