About Sacramento Mineral Society
An educational and social nonprofit established in 1936 dedicated to mineralogy, geologic sciences, and lapidary arts. The club runs a fully stocked lapidary workshop at its clubhouse, offers classes open to the general public, holds members-only field trips, and hosts a Junior Rockhound program plus an Annual Gem, Mineral & Jewelry Show.
