About Mendocino Coast Gem & Mineral Society
A welcoming and diverse 501(c)3 educational nonprofit group of people who love all things gems, minerals and rocks. MCGMS holds regular potluck dinner meetings, sponsors rockhounding field trips, does classroom presentations, and hosts an annual Gem and Mineral Show at Fort Bragg Town Hall during Paul Bunyan Days every Labor Day weekend. The club's lapidary shop is open Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings.
