About Mariposa Gem & Mineral Club
A member-driven organization focused on gems, minerals, and lapidary arts in California's central Sierra region, self-described as "Mountains of Minerals in the Central Sierra Nevada." The club runs "The Quarry," a members-only lapidary workshop in the basement of the Mariposa Hotel Inn, and a member-operated retail store, and organizes field trips ranging from Nevada to the Pacific Coast.
