About Long Beach Mineral & Gem Society
A Long Beach-based organization dedicated to minerals, gems, and lapidary arts that welcomes rockhounds and jewelry artists of all skill levels. The club runs a lapidary workshop (cabochon making, geode cutting/polishing, stone pendant creation, faceting instruction) and organizes field trips, including a 2026 visit to La Brea Tar Pits and a beach bash at White Point/Royal Palms in San Pedro.
