About Gold Country Treasure Seekers
A non-profit group interested in metal detecting and mineral prospecting, located in the heart of California Gold Country in Placerville, formed in the early 1980s to promote, encourage, and teach detecting and mining. The club also sponsors a training hunt on the first Sunday of every month, where members meet for breakfast then set out for a mystery destination to hone their detecting skills.
