About Fresno Gem & Mineral Society
A non-profit organization established in 1951 to promote interest, knowledge, appreciation and the art form of mineralogy in all its phases. The society has 250+ members of various ages and interests, offers clubhouse access, monthly meetings, outings, and classes, and is a registered 501(c)(3) (EIN 94-6076519). Proceeds support club operations and geology scholarships at Fresno City College and Fresno State. It participates in an annual gem and mineral show and the Big Fresno Fair.
