About Del-Air Rockhounds Club
Founded in 1954, Del-Air Rockhounds is a non-profit dedicated to sharing knowledge of the lapidary arts and techniques, geology, mineralogy and related fields. Activities include field trips to local deserts and mountains, lapidary equipment and instruction, an education outreach program called "Rocks in Your Classroom," monthly programs, demonstrations and lectures, and social events. Recent field trips have drawn approximately 20-25 active participants. Guests are welcomed at meetings.
