About Fort Worth Gem & Mineral Club
For more than 75 years, the Fort Worth Gem & Mineral Club has brought together rock, mineral, fossil, lapidary, and jewelry-making enthusiasts as a volunteer-run nonprofit founded in 1950. Meetings open with a social hour and potluck followed by a program, and all skill levels are welcome, including families just getting started. The club organizes field trips, offers hands-on lapidary and jewelry-making instruction with a facility expansion planned, and lists fossils among its collecting interests.
