About Paleontological Society of Austin
The Paleontological Society of Austin (PSoA) is a scientific, nonprofit, community-based organization devoted to the study of fossils, advancing paleontological science, public education, and specimen collection, with a primary focus on Texas fossils and involvement with Central Texas organizations. PSoA meets at the Austin Gem and Mineral Society facility and offers monthly field trips, many suitable for children, along with a monthly newsletter, technical publications, and educational outreach presentations.
