About Cera Gem, Mineral & Glass Society

The Gem, Mineral & Glass club operates as part of CERA (Community Enrichment Recreation Association), a Fort Worth parks-and-recreation-affiliated organization dating to 1949. The club functions as a full-service metal-smithing and gem-cutting studio, offering classes in lapidary, stained glass, casting, wire wrapping, and faceting. New members complete a Basic Lapidary and Beginning Stained Glass course, making the club accessible to beginners. The shop and equipment are open to members seven days a week. The club runs over 12 field trips per year, including day, weekend, and annual trips to the Big Bend region. It operates out of the Fort Worth Recreation Complex and maintains Facebook and Instagram pages.
