About Middle Tennessee Rockhounds
Middle Tennessee Rockhounds is a nonprofit, family-oriented club for people who collect and work with gems, minerals, jewelry, geology, and fossils, based in the Nashville/Brentwood, Tennessee area and affiliated with the Southeast Federation of Mineralogical Societies (SFMS) and American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS). The club meets monthly at Church of the Advent Episcopal in Nashville and shares a monthly newsletter, the Music City Rockette. Members get access to William Holland School of Lapidary Arts SFMS workshops and are always welcome to attend a meeting before joining. The club's flagship public event is its annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Festival, reaching its 11th year in 2026.
