About Coker Creek Chapter
The Coker Creek Chapter is the local Gold Prospectors Association of America (GPAA) affiliate serving Coker Creek, Tennessee, with about 39 members. The chapter meets at Coker Creek Gold Camp, on a GPAA-owned claim considered one of the better gold-panning claims in the eastern United States. Members can legally pan the club's GPAA claim; non-members panning the same land is treated as trespassing and can result in a fine and forfeiture of any gold recovered. The chapter meets monthly from February through October and is led by contact Allen Trotter.
