About Ohio State Prospectors Association
Founded in January 2008 by a handful of hobby gold prospectors, OSPA is a nonprofit organization that locates and secures local gold claims, including a claim east of Mount Vernon along the Kokosing River reserved for members. It is one of three prospecting clubs in Ohio with nonprofit status.
