About North Jersey Mineralogical Society Inc
The North Jersey Mineralogical Society (NOJMS), founded in 1945, is a community of rockhounds, geologists, and mineral enthusiasts dedicated to exploring, educating, and celebrating minerals and gems. The club runs member field trips ("geological adventures") led by experts at a members' discount and welcomes newcomers alongside seasoned collectors. NOJMS's flagship event, the North Jersey Gem, Mineral, and Fossil Show, reached its 36th year in 2026, held at Midland Park High School in Midland Park, New Jersey.
