About Roamin Club
Roamin Club is a Detroit-area rock, mineral, and fossil club, sponsored by Livonia Parks & Recreation, that meets monthly for friendship and learning about geology and paleontology. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of the month at the Ancient Order of Hibernians Hall in Redford and cover topics ranging from show-and-tell to specialized mineral studies and wire-wrapping instruction. Each spring the club hosts its Rock & Mineral Auction to support a scholarship at Schoolcraft College, held at the college's Vista Tech Center. Roamin Club is a member of both the Midwest Federation and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
