About Midwest Faceter's Guild
Midwest Faceter's Guild (MWFG) is a nonprofit community of gem-cutting enthusiasts dedicated to appreciating and promoting the art and skill of faceting gemstones. Members range widely in experience and gladly assist beginners. The guild holds an Annual Faceting Seminar offering beginning and intermediate classes with limited seating, open to non-members, plus additional membership meetings including a November annual meeting increasingly conducted over Zoom to broaden geographic participation. Faceting classes and workshops are held at the Tallmadge Township Offices in Grand Rapids, with a secondary presence at SilverFire Studios in Grand Haven.
