About Carlsbad Gem and Mineral Society
Serves individual and community education in gemology, mineralogy, geology, fossils, and lapidary arts in Carlsbad, New Mexico. A member of the Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies (RMFMS). Meets in a conference room on the Southeastern New Mexico College campus, with adjusted evening start times in November-December. Hosts an annual free-admission show at Living Desert State Park featuring gems, minerals, rocks, fossils, meteorites, jewelry, and auctions.
