About this location

Lots of open desert. Public land is fenced in by cattle ranchers. But it's still open for others to go in. Would recommend a sun hat and plenty of water. There is no shade to speak of. Look alongside the roads that are already there, and in the gravel pit.

Always seek permission where required, follow local laws, and practice Leave No Trace. Locations and details are community-submitted and may be inaccurate. Not sure what's legal here? Read our full guide to rockhounding laws by land type.
