About Reno Gem and Mineral Society Inc
The Reno Gem and Mineral Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation organized to create, develop, and encourage interest in earth sciences. The club offers member-led field trips across Nevada's deserts, runs a Jr Rockhound youth program, and is undergoing an expansion of its lapidary shop with new storage, electrical upgrades, and planned mezzanine/workshop space. It hosts the Jackpot of Gems annual show.
