About St. Louis Mineral & Gem Society

St. Louis Mineral & Gem Society is a nonprofit club established in 1951 to promote the hobby and knowledge of the earth sciences and lapidary arts. It meets September through May on the first Friday of the month at Washington University's Danforth Campus. The club offers Pebble Pups, a hands-on learning program in minerals, rocks, and earth science for children 12 and younger, organizes field trips to collecting sites, and holds an annual show each November.
