About Rockwood Gem & Mineral Society
Rockwood Gem & Mineral Society is a St. Louis-area rockhounding club based in Chesterfield, Missouri, dedicated to increasing and disseminating knowledge of the earth sciences and lapidary arts among members and to promoting conservation and intelligent use of natural resources. The club meets at Friendship Village near Faust Park, takes a summer break with a June picnic and no meetings in July or August, and holds its annual show in August.
