About Nashoba Valley Mineralogical Society

The Nashoba Valley Mineralogical Society (NVMS), founded in 1963, is a Littleton, Massachusetts club of mineral collectors and lapidarists affiliated with the Eastern Federation of Mineralogical and Lapidary Societies (EFMLS). The club sponsors talks, visits field-collecting sites and Earth Science museums, and gives members a chance to compare mineral finds. Meetings run September through June, skipping the summer, with additional social gatherings — a June picnic and a December holiday party. Sessions are mirrored on EFMLS Zoom for members who cannot attend the Littleton Fire Department venue in person. No website is currently published for the club.
