About Southern Maryland Rock and Mineral Club
Southern Maryland Rock and Mineral Club was established in 1989 for people interested in rock collecting and is one of the largest clubs in Maryland, with over 100 members. Members participate in meetings, presentations, and field trips to develop their knowledge of mineralogy and geology. The club conducts frequent field-collecting trips and holds an Annual Auction Night each August. Visitors are always welcome at meetings.
