About Maryland Geological Society
Maryland Geological Society is a nonprofit, volunteer organization dedicated to the collection, study, and display of all aspects of the geological sciences, composed of amateur and professional fossil and mineral collectors. The society runs a youth program called "Future Rockhounds of America," organizes field trips, and welcomes visitors to its meetings. It is planning a joint fossil/mineral auction with the American Fossil Federation (date to be announced).
