About Gem City Rock Club
Gem City Rock Club (GCRC) is a rockhounding club based in Quincy, Illinois. The club meets on the 4th Tuesday of most months, usually at the Quincy Town Center, with a June meeting held at the Mark Twain Lake Visitors Center; venue changes are announced via Facebook. GCRC hosts an annual two-day Rock, Mineral & Fossil Show at the Quincy Town Center each November, and members take field trips to collect rocks.
