About Earth Science Club of Northern Illinois
Earth Science Club of Northern Illinois (ESCONI) has promoted interest in the earth sciences -- including geology, paleontology, mineralogy, and archaeology -- since 1949. The club runs a General Meeting alongside dedicated Paleontology, Mineralogy, and Junior study groups. Visitors are welcome at all meetings, though club membership is required to join field trips. ESCONI organizes the annual ESCONI Rock, Mineral and Fossil Swap and Sale, held each August at the College of DuPage.
