About Black Hawk Gem & Mineral Club
Black Hawk Gem & Mineral Club is a non-profit rockhounding club serving the Rock Island area of the Quad Cities, organized in 1955. The club promotes interest in collecting, studying, and working with gems, minerals, and fossils. Regular meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Hauberg Civic Center in Rock Island. The club hosts a Rock, Gem, Jewelry and Fossil Show twice a year, typically in April and October, open to the public.
