About Snake River Region
Snake River Region (also known as the Twin Falls Chapter or Snake River Chapter GPAA) is the Twin Falls, Idaho chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America, with about 45 members. It meets the third Wednesday of the month, June through October, at 7:00 PM at Loong Hing Restaurant, 1719 Kimberly Road. As a GPAA chapter, it centers on recreational gold prospecting and small-scale mining and gives members access to GPAA claims. Chapter contact is Rick Van Vooren, and the group maintains a Facebook group for members.
