About North Idaho Mineral Club
North Idaho Mineral Club, founded August 24, 1949 as the North Idaho Rockhound Club and renamed in 1953, promotes interest and education in geology, mineralogy, paleontology, lapidary arts, and related sciences in the Coeur d'Alene/Hayden area. The club welcomes members of all experience levels, from newcomers to professional geologists.
