About Hells Canyon Gem Club Inc
Hells Canyon Gem Club is a non-profit social club founded in 1956 to promote the rockhound hobby around Lewiston, Idaho, through rock and mineral collecting, lapidary work, club displays, field trips, and geology classes. It is affiliated with the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies (NFMS), American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS), and American Lands Access Association (ALAA). The club meets the second Friday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Clarkston Grange Hall in Clarkston, Washington. Hells Canyon Gem Club hosts an annual Gem & Mineral Show at the Nez Perce County Fair Building in Lewiston, featuring dealers, displays from local rockhounds, a Kids Korner, a silent auction, and free lapidary classes.
