About Grand Junction Gem & Mineral Club
A 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to increasing and disseminating knowledge of the earth sciences pertaining to minerals, gems, rocks, artifacts, fossils, and similar objects, based in Grand Junction, Colorado. The club offers field trips, lapidary classes, jewelry instruction (chain making, faceting, intarsia, silversmithing, wire wrapping), and a Junior Rock Club program. It is celebrating its 80th anniversary with the 80th Anniversary GJGMC Gem and Mineral Show in 2026, and also runs a 2026 Fall Rock Show.
