About Denver Gem and Mineral Guild
An award-winning non-profit organization founded in 1964 that pursues exploration, experimentation, and education in the earth sciences. Membership includes geologists, teachers, lapidary artists, and rock enthusiasts. The Guild co-sponsors the annual Denver Gem & Mineral Show (February) and the Hardrock Summit (September), holds an annual summer picnic at Skunk Hollow in Bear Creek Lake Park, and welcomes visitors at its meetings.
