About Fort Collins Rockhounds
Members share a common interest in rocks and minerals, with areas of interest including lapidary work (cutting and polishing rocks, tumbling, faceting gems) and jewelry making. The club organizes field trips within about half a day's drive of Fort Collins and sponsors an annual Fort Collins Gem and Mineral Show each winter. Visitors, including children, are always welcome to attend meetings.
