North Alabama GPAA (Gold Prospectors Association of America) Chapter, welcoming novices through professional prospectors and miners. Family-friendly and community-oriented; visitors do not need GPAA membership or their own equipment to attend and try gold panning. Meets at the privately-run Alabama Gold Camp near Cragford/Lineville, AL. The chapter announced it would not host any Coin Shoots in 2026 (prior years included spring coin shoots and community digs).
