About Kanawha Rock and Gem Club

Kanawha Rock and Gem Club is a South Charleston, WV club of rock, gem, mineral, lapidary, and jewelry enthusiasts, founded in 1971 and an EFMLS member since 1972. Meetings are open to the public without requiring membership. The club offers jewelry-making and cabochon workshops, Junior Geologist activities for youth, and organizes field trips for members. It publishes a newsletter called 'Rocks In My Pockets' and hosts an annual show each October at the South Charleston Community Center featuring dealers and club exhibits.
