About Roanoke Valley Mineral & Gem Society

Established in 1963, the Roanoke Valley Mineral and Gem Society brings together rockhounds and geology enthusiasts. The club offers field trips and hosts an annual show (most recently held Thanksgiving weekend 2024); children 14 and under get free show admission with a paying adult.
