About Northern Virginia Mineral Club Inc

Founded in the mid-1950s, the Northern Virginia Mineral Club promotes, educates and encourages interest in geology, mineralogy, lapidary arts and related sciences. It organizes field trips, mineral shows, and educational programs, and hosts an annual Gem, Mineral & Fossil Show with roughly 20 dealers, demonstrations, exhibits, kids' activities, and a silent auction.
