About Oregon Coast Agate Club

Founded in 1939, the Oregon Coast Agate Club is a member of both the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies (AFMS) and the Northwest Federation of Mineralogical Societies (NFMS). It was formed by gem and mineral enthusiasts and lapidary artists to encourage people to get acquainted with the gem, mineral, and fossil materials of the Oregon Coast and the state of Oregon generally.
