About FarWest Lapidary & Gem Society
The Far West Lapidary & Gem Society is based in Coos Bay/North Bend, Oregon, and demonstrates lapidary arts including jewelry-making and gem work. The society is open to new members and meets weekly (formally twice monthly for full meetings). It is best known for its long-running annual Far West Rock & Gem Show, held at the Ko-Kwel Casino Resort (formerly the Mill Casino) in North Bend, which past coverage has marked reaching its 60th year.
