About Harrison County Gem & Mineral Society Inc
The Harrison County Gem and Mineral Society (HCGMS) is dedicated to promoting, educating, and stimulating interest in the earth sciences and lapidary arts in the Gulfport, Mississippi area. The club offers free monthly workshops with generally two or more projects underway at once, plus cabbing or faceting of gemstones, with small kit fees for some projects. Additional programs include potluck buffets and partnerships with the William Holland School of Lapidary Arts and Wildacres Classes.
