About Central Florida Mineral and Gem Society

Central Florida Mineral & Gem Society (CFMGS), founded in 1961, is dedicated to sharing knowledge and enjoyment of rocks, minerals, gemstones, lapidary arts, beading, and handcrafted jewelry. The society's workshop offers cabbing equipment, stone-cutting tools, faceting machines, and silversmithing capability, with classes in cabochon cutting, silversmithing, metalwork, wire wrapping, and beading.
