About Tucson Gem and Mineral Society
Founded in 1946 as a non-profit community committed to geology, mineralogy, lapidary and allied earth sciences. Produces the world-renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral Show®, held annually at the Tucson Convention Center. Also runs school visit programs and mine tours (e.g., Bagdad Mine Tours).
