About Rockhounds West
A geology club for people interested in mineralogy and earth sciences relevant to Arizona and the Southwest, based within the Sun City West retirement community club system. Meetings include a business review, upcoming trip details and a guest speaker. Trips run the second Friday of the month, meeting at the R.H. Johnson library parking lot for carpooling. Newcomers are always welcome and taught by knowledgeable collectors.
