About Mohave County Gemstoners
Member of the Rocky Mountain Federation of Mineralogical Societies focused on geology and earth sciences broadly, touching all areas of rockhounding. Members do lapidary work (cutting/polishing/tumbling), jewelry making, and recreational mining including gold and silver prospecting. Family-friendly with a dedicated kids section on the website. Board meetings held the Thursday before general meetings, 2:30 PM. Note: the old domain gemstoners.org is dead/unreachable; mcgemstoners.org is the current site.
