About GPAA Phoenix
GPAA Phoenix is one of Arizona's largest GPAA chapters, with about 228 members. It meets monthly at a VFW post in Phoenix. The chapter is led by President Lee Kane (known within the club as 'AZ Gold Miser'), Vice President William Brado, Secretary Michele Kane, and Designated Purchasing Agent Herb Cato. Beyond regular meetings, the chapter organizes prospecting outings on claims such as the Upper Vulture Bait claim near Morristown, AZ, where members have reported finding nuggets, and participates in regional gem and mineral shows such as the Prescott Gem and Mineral Show.
