About Gila County Gem & Mineral Society

A local tradition since 1954, this society meets monthly and draws members from Globe, Miami, Mesa, Tempe, Hayden and Winkelman. Offers membership, workshops, and events open to anyone interested in mineralogy, geology and gems. Contributed to a fluorescent mineral display at Bullion Plaza's mineral hallway, and participates in community programs including AZYP's 'Hobbies Not Habits' and Stemfest.
