About Flagg Mineral Foundation
The Flagg Mineral Foundation was formed in 1962 with the original goal of establishing a mineral museum in the Phoenix area, and today works to support and promote public interest in earth science and the mineral-collecting hobby. It has roughly 400 members spread across several states. The Foundation's flagship event is the A. L. Flagg Gem and Mineral Show, held annually in the Phoenix/Mesa area every January, alongside a Minerals of Arizona Symposium each March/April. The Foundation is also connected to two other Arizona shows: the Gilbert Fine Mineral Gem & Fossil Show and the Helzarockin Gem & Mineral Show.
